Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Teachers' Pay Scale + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join our growing Sixth Form team.
This is an opportunity to teach in an environment where you have the time, support and resources to make a lasting impact. You'll lead a small class of up to eight learners with complex needs, delivering engaging, personalised learning that supports both academic achievement and preparation for adulthood.
Whether you're currently working in special education or are an experienced mainstream teacher looking to develop your career in SEND, we'll support you to thrive in our specialist setting.

What You'll Do

Deliver engaging, personalised teaching tailored to individual learning needs.

Support learners to develop independence, communication and life skills alongside academic outcomes.

Create a positive, structured and motivating learning environment where every learner can succeed.

Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists and families.

Monitor, assess and celebrate learner progress and achievement.

Contribute to EHCP targets and person-centred learning plans.

Help prepare young people for successful and fulfilling adult lives.
About You
We're looking for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and believes every learner deserves the opportunity to succeed.
You'll have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

A commitment to supporting young people with additional needs.

Experience working with learners with SEND, ideally within a post-16 or specialist setting.

A creative, adaptable and nurturing approach to teaching.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner wellbeing.
