About the Role
BP Rolls Hull is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (Estimator) to join our busy and growing Bodyshop team.
The successful candidate will have gained substantial experience in all areas of vehicle damage assessment and repair methods.
We work closely with National fleet clients, therefore, this individual will be expected to understand estimating methods and complexities that will lead to repairs being completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard estimating systems.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify all bodywork, structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage.
- Develop accurate and cost-effective repair methods while maintaining manufacturer and safety standards.
- Work closely with Bodyshop and mechanical technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor repair progress and update estimates where additional damage is identified during the repair process.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and clients throughout the repair journey.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Support operational efficiency by helping maximise workshop productivity and repair quality.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in all areas of vehicle damage estimation within an accident repair environment.
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods, bodywork processes, and mechanical repair requirements.
- Experience using estimating platforms such as Audatex, or similar systems.
- Ability to accurately identify repair requirements and produce detailed repair plans.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple repairs and priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience working with commercial vehicles and fleet operators would be advantageous.
- ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor qualification preferred but not essential.
