We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our Award winning team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, excellent skills, and a strong background in kitchen operations. This role involves overseeing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Chef will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the smooth functioning of our restaurant’s kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Help implement innovative menus in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimise kitchen operations.
- Assist in fostering a motivated and skilled team environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor quality control throughout all stages of food production.
- Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health and safety legislation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a hospitality environment.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrable culinary skills with a creative approach .
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills Desirable

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
