Paralegal – Private Client
Glasgow
circa £35,000 (+/-doe)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established Glasgow based legal firm with an outstanding reputation and enviable client base.
Working in a small team with one other experienced Solicitor you will perform a client facing and fully responsible role with a variety of interesting private client work.
Some training can be provided to candidates with less experience.
Responsibilities will include:
· Managing your own caseload (support will be given for individuals with less experience)
· Preparing wills and powers of attorney
· Administering estates, trusts (including accounts) and executries
· Liaising with clients in person and over the telephone
· Completing all associated administration
· Completing work, often to strict time deadlines
Essential criteria:
· Previous experience of working within a Private Client Department – we will consider candidates at all levels of experience
· Genuine interest in Private Client work
· Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
· Ability to form relationships with clients
· Confident, approachable, hardworking and enthusiastic
· Excellent organisation skills
· Excellent IT skills
