Job Description:
Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered General Nurse to join one of our NHS clients in Isle of Wight. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Nurse to work autonomously in a fast-paced urgent care environment, providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with minor illness and minor injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in accordance with NHS policies and clinical guidelines.
- Assess, monitor and document patients’ clinical condition and respond appropriately to changes in their health.
- Administer medications safely and accurately in line with prescribed treatment plans.
- Carry out clinical observations and escalate any concerns or deterioration appropriately.
- Assist with personal care, nutrition, hydration and mobility where required.
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse – Adult (RGN)
- Minimum 6 months’ recent NHS or UK healthcare experience.
- Recent experience working within a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Up-to-date mandatory training, including BLS, Safeguarding and Manual Handling.
- Ability to work long-day and night shifts.
