Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team at Goldilocks Nursery Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children and committed to providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
About the role:
You will be working as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and thrive. You will support children’s development through engaging activities, meaningful interactions and strong relationships with families.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS
- Plan and deliver engaging activities based on children’s interests and next steps
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers
- Complete observations and contribute to assessments
- Ensure a safe, clean and inclusive environment at all times
- Work as part of a team to maintain high standards across the nursery
What we are looking for:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the EYFS
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
