Responsibilities:
- Operate in line with Pallet-Track’s integrated management system, policies and organisational values to ensure consistent and compliant operational performance.
- Process sales and purchase invoices onto the accounting system, ensuring correct coding and VAT treatment.
- Maintain purchase ledger and sales ledger, ensuring records are complete and up to date.
- Post daily receipts and payments, ensuring accurate allocation.
- Carry out statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Manage supplier and invoice queries, ensuring effective resolution.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs and remittances.
- Monitor and post direct debit expenses.
- Administer colleague expenses and company credit card transactions.
- Process intercompany transactions and recharges accurately.
- Maintain and monitor the sundry invoice system.
- Complete weekly invoice processing cycles.
- Resolve billing disputes between members/customers/partners in a professional manner.
- Support month-end processes including reconciliations and preparation of management accounts.
- Prepare and collate financial data for monthly reporting.
- Assist with audit preparation, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain finance processes and contribute to the development and improvement of procedures.
- Undertake general administrative and ad hoc duties as required.
- Ensuring data integrity within finance systems.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
