Mistek are a specialised UK-based fire suppression company founded in 2016 and headquartered in Rochester, Kent. They specialise in the installation of the automist fire suppression system, which was the first and leading domestic fire suppression system. Due to recent company growth, they are now looking to recruit a brand new fire engineer to join their team!
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
Desire to learn more about the wider fire engineering industry
Grade 4 in Maths and English at GCSE (or equivalent) or above
A driving license is required if you are 21 and above, as the company insurance policy only covers drivers 21+
Plumbing experience would be a bonus
Electrical experience would be a bonus
Comfortable working at height, due to the nature of the role

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Dagenham centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
