Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly to guests
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with safety standards
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures, are strictly followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas throughout your shift
- Provide attentive and personalised service to enhance guest experience
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
- Assist in setting up tables, organising reservations, and clearing after service
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner to foster a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving of alcohol
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service best practices
- A positive attitude with a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest experiences
Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
