Overview
The role of a PAT Tester is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of electrical appliances within various environments. As a PAT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting Portable Appliance Testing to verify that equipment meets safety standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance, ensuring that all tested items are safe for use.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on a variety of electrical appliances to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all inspections performed.
- Identify any faults or issues in appliances and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality assurance protocols.
- Stay updated on current legislation and best practices related to electrical safety testing.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries regarding testing procedures and results.

- Strong analytical skills to assess test results and identify potential safety concerns.
