Duties
Perform loss prevention measures by observing and deterring theft or vandalism through vigilant monitoring and patrols.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms or disturbances, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Carry out regular patrols of the facility to check for security breaches, safety hazards, or unauthorised access.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities.
- Assist in enforcing access control procedures by verifying credentials of staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Provide first aid support when needed, demonstrating preparedness to handle medical emergencies with professionalism and care.
Skills
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimise theft and asset loss.
- Ability to interpret CCTV footage accurately and respond swiftly to potential threats.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and liaising with emergency responders or team members.
- Basic first aid certification to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies.
