Established in 1999, Water Treatment Products Ltd is one of the leading water treatment companies in the UK. We formulate, supply and manufacture specialty chemicals for a wide range of companies.
We are currently recruiting for a full time Production Operator on a permanent contract to be based at our site in Blaenavon, Torfaen.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator in pursuit of joining a well-established and highly regarded specialist in the water treatment market.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Follow written and verbal work instructions.
2. Decanting of water treatment chemicals into drums.
3. Packing and labeling of bottles, drums and containers
4. Assist Production Controller/Team Leader in completing work schedules.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
6. Wear all personal protective equipment provided.
7. Complete paperwork to the satisfaction of the Production Controller/Team Leader.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
1. Working hours are subject to change; flexibility required.
2. Strong communication and team skills complemented with a strong work ethic are required.
3. Good time keeping and attendance are essential.
4. Self-motivated and have the ability to handle a range of tasks and get things done right the first time.
5. Fork lift truck license desirable but not essential.
6. Co-operate fully with the management in all matters of health and safety.
