Café Theatre at Redfields Garden Centre is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.
This is a 32-hour-per-week, permanent role, working daytime hours on a rota, with additional overtime potentially available.
The Role
You’ll be an essential part of the kitchen team, helping us keep everything clean, organised and running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Washing crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen, wash-up and back-of-house areas clean and organised
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Cleaning floors, surfaces and equipment
- Managing waste and recycling correctly
- Receiving and putting away deliveries when required
- Supporting chefs with basic preparation duties
- Helping the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
- Following all health & safety and cleaning procedures
What We’re Looking For
Experience is helpful, but attitude and reliability matter more.
You’ll need to be hardworking, punctual, organised and happy to get stuck in as part of a busy team.
