Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow food safety procedures diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including taking payments and giving change.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as organising ingredients or packaging items.
- Uphold company policies on food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards consistently.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic skills in food preparation and handling ingredients are preferred.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
