JPS Walker Solicitors cover all areas of personal injury with a focus on travel litigation, serious injuries, and package holiday claims.
You will work closely with a Partner to assist on a complex caseload. We offer a supportive environment with thorough training and development so everyone who works with us has the knowledge required to progress their career.
Your job role will include the following:
- Taking initial instructions from new clients to allow the claim to be assessed
- Maintaining excellent levels of customer service
- Drafting Letters of Claim, Witness Statements, Instructions to Counsel, Schedules of Loss and Court documents
- Developing key skills with a view to gaining the necessary knowledge to run your own caseload
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 3 months experience dealing with Personal Injury matters
- Strong organisational skills
- Working to strict deadlines
- An excellent standard of written English including spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Strong telephone manner and the ability to communicate with clients and negotiate/objection handle
- Previous experience of Proclaim desired but not essential
