Saturdays 9-6pm & Mondays 9 - 6:30pm with the occasional extra day if needed to cover holidays/sickness.
We are seeking a passionate and energetic self-employed Dog Pool Attendant - Canine Fun Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing our doggy swimming pool, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our canine guests. Supervise dogs during their time in the pool, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
Please note, this job involves a lot of physical labour, you can be handling dogs up to 65kg. You are also going to get scratched and bruised due to dogs nails.
- Assist pet owners with check-in and check-out procedures, providing friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including cleaning equipment and disposing of waste appropriately
- Monitor water quality and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Engage with dogs and owners to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere
- Enforce safety rules and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with setting up and packing away pool equipment as needed
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving pool supplies or furniture
Skills
- Experience with dogs
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to handle active dogs safely and confidently
- Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Excellent organisational skills to manage daily operations efficiently
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine love for animals and creating positive experiences for clients
- Ability to swim
