Responsibilities
- Offer personalised support tailored to each individual's needs, promoting independence and confidence
- Engage in mentoring activities to encourage personal development and social skills
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities
- Support children and adults in educational or behavioural settings through teaching and guidance
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages participation and growth
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure consistent support plans are implemented effectively
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made
- Promote positive behaviour management strategies in line with organisational policies
Qualifications
- Experience or interest in working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable
- Skills in mentoring, teaching, or supporting behavioural development are advantageous
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised, patient, and adaptable approach to varied situations
- Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care are beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for successful applicants
