join the award-winning team at The Barrel Inn, a historic, family-run pub nestled in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Renowned for serving delicious, freshly cooked, and mostly locally sourced food, we pride ourselves on providing an unforgettable dining experience with arguably the best views in Derbyshire. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated chef to join our busy kitchen team.We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about creating high-quality, classic British gastro pub dishes with a modern twist, such as our popular steak and ale pies, lamb dishes, and seasonal specials.
Position Available: Chef (All kitchen positions/abilities considered, from Chef de Partie upwards)Location: The Barrel Inn, Bretton, Hope Valley, S32 5QDKey Responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers.
- Contributing to menu planning and ensuring a high standard of food preparation and presentation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with all food hygiene and safety standards.
- Working effectively as part of a professional and friendly team.
- Managing stock control and ordering supplies as required.
- Working in a Rosetted Kitchen and with Michelin accredited chef

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a busy pub or restaurant environment is beneficial.
