About the role
We have exciting opportunities for a DC Site Admin Assistant to join our Distribution team in Whetstone, Leicester to carry out general admin duties supporting the DC Management Administration Team.
Immediate starts available.
The role will include: supporting the DC Site Coordinator and DC Site Administrator when required, assisting with consumables, stationery orders and uniform requests, and providing administrative support to the DC Facilities team, maintaining training and Health & Safety records, including the production of weekly fire registers, while ensuring high levels of Health & Safety standards are maintained across the site and producing accurate weekly and monthly reports.
Contract type: Permanent - Days (8am-4pm)
Hours – 40 hours (Breaks are paid)
Full training is provided
About you
We are seeking people who have a "can do" attitude; are a great team player; have good attention to detail; are able to use their own initiative; and be willing to get stuck in to help where needed.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated and possess excellent attention to detail. They will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and be confident using a range of computer systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible and committed approach to their work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, supervisors and managers. They will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives. Previous experience working in an office environment would be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining training and H&S records including producing weekly fire registers.
- To support the DC Site Coordinator and DC Site Administrator when required.
- Assist with consumables, stationery orders and uniform requests.
- Maintaining and processing Agency set-up, timesheets and purchase orders.
- To support the DC Facilities team with admin duties when required.
- To collate, check, input and monitor daily workforce timesheets.
- To produce weekly and monthly reports.
- To maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards
- To carry out any adhoc duties, when required.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
ESSENTIAL
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Good standard of Microsoft packages especially Microsoft Excel.
- Must display a flexible and committed approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- Strong communication skills between fellow co-workers, supervisors and managers.
DESIRED
- Experience of working in an office environment.
