Duties
- Install new electrical systems and components following blueprints and technical specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical wiring, panels, and equipment to identify potential issues
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and techniques to restore functionality quickly
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and voltage testers
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and conduit benders
- Solid electrical experience with wiring diagrams, circuit layouts, and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues clearly
