Pay: £12.71 – £15.50 per hour, depending on the service and level of support required
Contract: Bank Contract initially, progressing to permanent contracted hours as the service becomes established
Shifts: Day Shifts and Waking Nights
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

MSA Supported Living Ltd is expanding and is now recruiting for Goodwin House, our completely brand-new supported living development in Riddlesden, Keighley.
Goodwin House will become our third supported living service within the Riddlesden area of Keighley and consists of five newly developed supported living homes.
The service will primarily support adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Some individuals may also have secondary needs including mental health needs, physical health needs, sensory needs and other complex support requirements.
Goodwin House is currently expected to open towards the end of October 2026, subject to completion of the building works and all required pre-opening arrangements.
We are recruiting now so successful candidates can complete their Enhanced DBS, recruitment checks, induction and required training in preparation for the service opening.
Contract Arrangements
All successful candidates will initially join MSA Supported Living Ltd on a bank contract.
As Goodwin House becomes established, staff who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, good attendance and consistently high standards of care and support will progress towards permanent contracted hours in line with the staffing requirements of the service.
This gives successful applicants an opportunity to join the service from the very beginning and build towards a permanent position within MSA Supported Living Ltd.
The Role
As a Support Worker at Goodwin House, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults living within their own supported living homes.
The role is about helping each individual live as independently, safely and meaningfully as possible, while respecting their choices, dignity and individual needs.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting adults whose primary needs are Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
- Supporting individuals who may also have secondary mental health, physical health, sensory or complex support needs
- Providing personal care where required
- Supporting medication safely and accurately
- Supporting cooking, cleaning, shopping and other daily living activities
- Helping individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
- Supporting people to attend appointments and access their local community
- Supporting activities, social opportunities and meaningful daily routines
- Supporting mobility and physical-health needs where required
- Monitoring changes in physical or emotional wellbeing and reporting concerns promptly
- Supporting people during periods of anxiety or distress
- Following Positive Behaviour Support strategies where applicable
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Reporting safeguarding concerns and incidents appropriately
- Working effectively with colleagues, families and health and social care professionals
- Maintaining a safe, comfortable and respectful home environment
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and proactive people who genuinely take pride in the support they provide.
Previous experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism would be highly desirable.
Experience in mental health, physical health, complex needs, Positive Behaviour Support or supported living would also be beneficial.

We want staff who are prepared to play an active part in developing Goodwin House, rather than simply attending a shift.
Driving Licence
A full UK driving licence is preferred, as supporting individuals to access appointments, activities and the wider community may form part of the role.
Enhanced DBS & Recruitment Checks
All successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory safer recruitment checks before commencing work.
Successful candidates will also complete a full induction and various training appropriate to their role and the individual needs of the people they will support.
