Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of the premises. A valid driving licence and excellent communication skills are desirable to facilitate smooth operations and customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces
- Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning schedules or specific requirements
- Drive company vehicles when required for transporting cleaning supplies or equipment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred
- Good command of English to facilitate clear communication with team members and clients
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within a team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Job Details
- 3 Hours for two days on two sites per week
This totals 12 hours per week (approximately 48 hours per month).
Please note that the number of hours may increase over time, depending on the individual’s performance and operational requirements.
