Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and signage are properly arranged for optimal guest experience
- Provide exceptional guest services by welcoming attendees, answering questions, and guiding them through event activities
- Support ticketing and entry processes, verifying tickets or passes efficiently while maintaining security protocols
- Promote additional offerings such as merchandise or food and beverages through friendly upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all tasks are completed promptly and events run smoothly
- Coordinate with team members to organize seating arrangements, manage crowd flow, and address any on-site issues swiftly
- Maintain organizational records of attendance, sales, or feedback to support continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or similar customer-focused environments is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings
- Proven time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities during events
- Experience in upselling products or services to guests is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
