Role Overview:
As Bar Supervisor, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and product quality. You’ll be hands-on behind the bar, lead by example, and act as a point of contact for the team during shifts. You’ll help create a space that keeps regulars coming back and first-timers feeling right at home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise bar operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient running of shifts
- Lead and motivate bar staff, offering guidance and support where needed
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards at all times
- Ensure stock levels are managed, rotated, and recorded accurately
- Support ordering, deliveries, and cellar management (including line cleaning)
- Assist with training new staff and upskilling the existing team
- Handle cashing up, POS reports, and basic admin duties as required
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Help organise and support events, live music nights, and seasonal promotions

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a bar or pub supervisory role
- A confident, approachable personality with excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of beers, ales, wines, and spirits (Cask Ale experience a big plus)
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- A natural leader who can inspire a team and uphold pub standards
- Cellar management and basic stock control experience preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
