Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Prep Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing ingredients and creating our home made burgers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food, delivering high-quality products. The Prep Chef will take full responsibility of their prep kitchen, maintain a high level of efficiency and uphold food safety standards.
Duties
Preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling and marinating.
Preparing sauces, garnishes, and side dishes as directed
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed during all food preparation
Organise and maintain the cleanliness of workstations and storage areas
Assist with inventory management by organising stock
Delivering freshly prepared foods to relevant sites (Vehicle supplied)
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality
Take responsibility for EHO compliance and paperwork
Qualifications
Full clean UK drivers licence is required.
Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is essential
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
Minimum food hygiene level 2 qualified
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
PAY - From £12.71ph Must have drivers licence
Food hygiene level 2 cert
Previous chef / prep experience
Pay: £12.71 per hour
