Job Description
We are looking for a professional and reliable Door Supervisor to join our security team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, observant, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment at Synagogues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of worshippers, visitors, staff, and the premises while maintaining a professional and respectful presence throughout each shift.
Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour and potential threats.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
- Manage access during services and events while maintaining a calm and respectful environment.
- Assist with emergency evacuations when required.
- Liaise with emergency services when necessary.
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
- Ensure all site security procedures and health & safety policies are followed.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Mandatory).
- Previous experience in a Door Supervisor or Security role is preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

- Pay: £16.00 per hour
- Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday
- Shift Length: 4–5 hours per shift
