Overview
Innovation Pod is looking for enthusiastic and reliable After-School Club Tutors to join our team and deliver engaging, educational activities for primary school children.
This is a part-time weekday afternoon role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive impact. No specialist experience is required for Coding clubs — we provide the lesson plans, modules and resources you need.
What you'll do
- Deliver fun and engaging after-school sessions for primary-aged children.
- Follow our provided lesson plans and resources.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
- Supervise children and maintain high safeguarding and behaviour standards.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, creativity and confidence.
- Communicate professionally with schools, parents and the Innovation Pod team.
- Ensure equipment and classrooms are left clean and organised.
What we're looking for
- Experience working with children through teaching, tutoring, childcare, youth work or similar is desirable.
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and follow provided session plans.
- Coding experience is not required for our Coding clubs — training and all materials are provided.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Pay & Progression
This is a part-time position, with pay starting at £20 per session.
Tutors can receive a £2.50 increase every 6 weeks, based on punctuality, attendance and performance, with the potential to progress up to £35 per session.
