Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Part-Time Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple responsibilities efficiently, and ensuring all patrons enjoy a memorable experience. Prior experience in a fast paced environment is preferred but not essential
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments; fine dining experience is preferred, but not essential
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and creating positive guest interactions.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, or special events as needed.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
