Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hereford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or experienced Accounts Senior looking to take the next step into a management role. You will manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and agricultural clients, while working closely with Partners and supporting junior team members.
The Role
- Managing a diverse client portfolio across accounts and tax.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax compliance work.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients.
- Reviewing and supporting junior staff development.
- Assisting Partners with general practice and advisory work.
About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Strong background in UK accountancy practice.
- Experience managing clients across accounts and tax.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experienced Accounts Seniors looking for progression are encouraged to apply.
