As a member of the Goods Inwards Team the role will:
· ensure processes relating to raw material quality are carried out in line with Nice Pak procedures and customer requirements through analytical and physical testing’s
· undertake courses for accreditation
· sample materials as per internal processes – this role involves physical sampling of chemicals and packaging components whilst adhering to strict Health & Safety Protocols This role requires manual handling and pallet truck training which will be provided.
· investigate raw material quality failures, rejecting material and ensuring that effective supplier CAPA plans and credits are received.
· select and send analytical samples to third party laboratories and use of their portals to obtain results.
· demonstrate, at all times our company’s values
· create raw material specifications and adherence to internal specifications
· demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental performance by their own actions.
· ensure that all process monitoring equipment is calibrated before use
· drive improvements, develop professional relationships and demonstrate self-awareness
· improve GMP and Hygiene levels of the site
Qualities and experience required include:
- Recent experience in a Quality related role is desired but not essential.
- Demonstrate self-awareness, through reflection and drive own personal development plan
- Be receptive to new approaches and ideas
- Understand methods of problem solving and root cause analysis
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office applications essential
- Take responsibility for their own actions

- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a positive and flexible manner
- Flexibility required as the successful candidate will be expected to undertake additional hours to cover absence/holidays of job share colleague.
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Schedule: Wed 1200-1600, Thurs & Friday 0900-1700 (or 0830-1630)
