We have an exciting opportunity for an Outpatient Booking Officer to join the Trauma & Orthopaedics team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and booking outpatient appointments, ensuring patients receive a timely and efficient service. You will play a key part in the implementation, development and ongoing monitoring of both new and existing appointment systems, helping to support effective patient pathways.
The successful candidate will contribute to achieving Trust targets while delivering an excellent standard of customer service to patients, colleagues and external stakeholders. Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills are essential to ensure a professional and patient-focused service at all times.

Main duties of the role include:
Booking and arranging outpatient appointments with patients via telephone.
Managing the Trauma & Orthopaedics call centre and responding to patient queries.
Scheduling patient appointments from waiting lists in line with service requirements.
Rescheduling or cancelling appointments at short notice when necessary.
Liaising with clinical administration teams, managers, consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and service delivery.
Undertaking a range of administrative duties, including taking meeting minutes, validating waiting lists and maintaining accurate patient records.
