Tidings is a family run, specialist care home for adults with mental health problems, learning difficulties and complex health needs.
Our current team are strong, experienced, friendly and close knit, we now require an additional staff member to compliment our team providing excellent standards of care to people within our active and inclusive home. Preferably the candidate will have prior knowledge or experience of supporting those with mental health problems or learning disabilities and has a care background, but in the absence of experience, the right person will receive full training from a supportive team. We do provide full statutory training along side other beneficial courses relatable to the home and it's residents.
Once the probationary period is complete, the successful candidate will undergo training in the safe administration in medication with a wage increase to reflect this.
We are looking for either -
One full time member of staff for 35 + hours
Or
Two part time staff, sharing these hours accordingly.
These hours are worked on a shift basis and may include working -
Mornings/ daytime hours
Weekends
Evenings / Nights / Sleep-ins
Bank holidays, including Christmas and New Year
There will be the possibility to pick up additional hours as needed to cover annual leave / sickness.
The successful applicant will be offered the post subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks.
