Tunnicliffe Signs & Graphics are Cheshire’s leading sign making and vehicle graphics manufacturers. A family business established for more than 30 years, we manufacture and install signage for customers in Cheshire and nationwide.
We are looking for a sign installer/ fitter to join our small, friendly team, working on a wide range of signage installation projects. Everything we produce is bespoke, so no two days are the same. The majority of our fitting work takes place in the North West and the Midlands, with occasional national travel which may include overnight stays.
Key duties:
- Install a wide variety of types of internal and external signage, including illuminated signage, fascia signage, built up lettering, vinyl graphics and other large format signage
- Carry out site surveys, inspections and repairs
- Identify and troubleshoot potential installation challenges, ensuring minimal downtime during installations
- Liaise with customers/ site contacts in a professional manner, following all necessary safety procedures and photographing completed works
- Assist in the preparation and production of signage in our workshop as required
- Maintain an organised, clean, and safe working environment at all times
Skills & experience required:
- Experience in sign fitting or related trades (e.g. construction, shop fitting, joinery)
- Confidence working at height and using hand & power tools
- Full manual UK driving licence essential
- Strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work to tight deadlines
- Confident communicator, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail, and commitment to producing work of the highest standard
- IPAF, PASMA and SPA Petrol passport cards an advantage
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays.
