Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Schedule staff shifts, monitor attendance, and manage leave requests to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Address guest enquiries or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations across the property.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality management roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional attitude.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting supplies or overseeing multiple locations.
