Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup and breakdown
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure guest health and safety
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Experience
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly preferred; enthusiasm for guest service is essential
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation skills
- Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash or card payments
