Day & Night Care Assistant – The Croft Care Home

Position Overview
We are seeking caring, reliable, and dedicated Day and Night Care Assistants to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working within a supportive and professional care environment.
Flexible working patterns are available, including day and night shifts on a rota basis, with alternate weekend working required.
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans
- Support residents with personal care and daily living activities while promoting independence
- Maintain residents' dignity, privacy, choice, and wellbeing at all times
- Assist residents with mobility, nutrition, hydration, and social engagement
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies
- Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively as part of a care team to ensure the highest standards of care
Person Specification
- Previous experience working within an elderly residential care setting is essential
- Caring, compassionate, and professional approach to care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, organised, and adaptable
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable
- Relevant care training and certifications are advantageous
