Pay and rewards
- £27,827 basic salary
- £13.40 per hour overtime
- £65 per sleep-in
- £500 annual bonus on your employment anniversary
- £200 bonus if your home achieves Ofsted Good
- £500 bonus if your home achieves Ofsted Outstanding
- 33 days annual leave plus birthday off

The role
You will support children and young people with their daily lives, routines, education, activities and emotional wellbeing. You will help create a home where children feel safe, listened to and supported, while also maintaining clear boundaries and high standards of care.
Responsibilities include
- Supporting children with day-to-day care and routines
- Helping children attend school, appointments and activities
- Building positive and trusting relationships
- Supporting behaviour in a calm, trauma-informed way
- Recording daily events and important information accurately
- Working closely with colleagues and professionals
- Promoting safeguarding at all times
What you will need
- A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
- Resilience, empathy and emotional warmth
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins
- Experience in care is helpful, but not essential
- Full manual driving licence required
