Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room leader Nursery Nurse to join our team, providing exceptional care and education to young children in a nurturing environment. As a Room leader Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in fostering the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring they thrive both socially and emotionally.
Duties
- Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery, creating a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote collaboration.
- Implement early childhood education programmes that cater to the individual needs of each child.
- Provide high-quality childcare, ensuring that all children are cared for with compassion and respect.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and encouraging a positive atmosphere among staff.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience, including organising engaging activities that promote learning through play.
Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their early development.
