Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team in our small yet busy restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist the Head and Sous Chefs in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head Chef & Sous Chef to plan and create menus
- Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Step in to lead the kitchen service in the absence of the Head Chef/Sous Chef
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food production
- Leadership abilities to effectively supervise kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
18+ Years Old
Professional Catering Qualification or similar
Minimum 4 Days per week/ Minimum 27 Hours per week
Hourly Pay dependant on experience
Share of Tips
Working weekdays/ weekends (Lunch & Evening service)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
