Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and approachable FOH (Front of House) Manager to lead our front-of-house team. This role is all about creating a warm, inviting environment where guests feel valued and well taken care of. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and experience in restaurant or hotel settings, you’ll thrive here. Your role will be to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and support your team in delivering memorable experiences.
This is a full-time, permanent position, 5 days over a week. Ideally working both days at the weekend but some weekends will be available to take off. Mostly you would have Tuesday/Wednesday off.
The hours would be 8 am start until 5.30pm at the latest. Never any evenings.
Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Oversee food presentation and ensure that all food safety standards are maintained across the service area.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
- Support team training on service procedures, food safety protocols, and hospitality best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and overall flow of the restaurant to optimize guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience within restaurants or hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles such as barista experience or hotel work is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is a plus.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
