CNC Operator
As a CNC Operator you will, unsurprisingly, be responsible for operating CNC machining centres. Don’t let this put you off, it’s not be as complicated as it may sound.
To apply for this position you don’t need any previous experience as full training will be given. What is far more important to us is that you can turn up on time and be productive while you’re here.
Following comprehensive training your responsibilities will include:
- Loading billet material in to machines.
- Running CNC cycles.
- De burring machined components
- Tapping machined holes.
- Packing components to despatch for anodising.
The following are not essential skills by any means but they would be a bonus:
- Experience of fusion 360 or any CAD package.
- Experience working in a machine shop environment.
At Aberlink we undertake a wide variety of design and manufacture from our headquarters near Stroud. Once you’ve proven yourself at this role, we have plenty of opportunities for you to develop in the machine shop or into other areas of the business.
39.5 hours a week.
24 days annual paid holiday rising to 27 days with long service. Plus paid bank holidays.
