Loftsome Bridge is a privately owned boutique hotel and restaurant, beautifully situated on the banks of the River Derwent near the village of Wressle. Known for our warm welcome, exceptional service, and relaxed countryside setting, we offer guests a unique escape just a short drive from York.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Front of House Team Member to join our busy hotel and restaurant. This is a key role covering reception, bar and restaurant service. The succesful candidate will be confident working independently, taking responsibility for shifts, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing warm, professional service to guests across all front-of-house areas
- Managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest enquiries
- Delivering food and beverage service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Supporting the planning and smooth running of private functions and events
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
- Working closely with the wider team to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere
What We’re Looking For
- Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience preferred
- Must be confident working independently if required
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for customer service
- Smart presentation and confident, friendly communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
