The Role
This is a hands-on, factory-floor-based role supporting new starters from their very first day with Foodpro.
You'll welcome people as they arrive, issue PPE, complete onboarding paperwork and introduce them to their department. From there, you'll continue to support them throughout their first three months, carrying out regular reviews, answering questions, identifying where additional help is needed and working with Supervisors and Managers to ensure every new starter has the best opportunity to succeed.
You'll also coordinate training, maintain onboarding records, monitor attendance, investigate no-shows and work closely with our agency providers to help ensure labour requirements are met.
Most of your day will be spent on the factory floor, getting to know people, supporting their development and making sure they are settling into the business.
About You
You will have:
- Previous food manufacturing or food production experience.
- Good communication skills and confidence speaking to people at all levels.
- The ability to build trust and positive working relationships quickly.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Competent PC skills.
- The ability to manage several tasks at the same time without losing focus.
Previous experience in onboarding, training, coaching or developing people would be an advantage, but isn't essential. Full training will be provided.
Pay: £29,500.00 per year
