We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our events run smoothly, delivering high-quality food service while maintaining the standards of fine dining.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food within a primary school setting
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Support dietary needs by understanding menu items and assisting children with their selections.
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Uphold high standards of school catering.
Skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in food preparation, catering, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- An enhanced DBS check will be applied for due to working within a school environment
