We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide invaluable support to our healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support by assisting patients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
- Assist with medication administration under the direction of registered nurses or healthcare providers.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Support healthcare professionals during medical procedures and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including observations and care provided.
- Ensure patient comfort by assisting with positioning, changing bed linens, and providing emotional support.
- Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries, including fall prevention strategies and infection control practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
