An opportunity has arisen for a sign maker to join our company with a passion for hand crafted custom signage.
We want people that take great pride in their work. You will be very handy and have a passion for making things. Goodwin & Goodwin are an award-winning sign and design company based in North London. We make our own range of amazing type-based homeware, lights and signs. We work with some fantastic clients like the BBC, GQ, MTV, Spotify, Coca-Cola, H&M, Fortnum & Mason.
The Role:
- General Sign making duties
- Spray and brush painting
- Assembling Signs
- Masking/sanding/prep work
- Basic wiring/soldering/electrical work
- Building all different type signs & light boxes
- Weeding and applying vinyl
- Working with hand tools and power tools
Essential skills and experience:
- Have previous sign making experience
- 12V LED electrical skills experience desirable
- Have a strong interest in making things
- Time Management and Organisation skills, be able to multi-task
- Self motivated and confident able to work on your own initiative
- High attention to detail
- Committed to meeting deadlines and targets
- A willingness to learn new skills and ways of working
- Good at listening
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Applicants must be able to commute to North London, nearest tube Wood Green (Picadilly Line).
Salary dependent on experience. Overtime available.
