We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team! FROM £32,500 - Pay is based on ability - you will also be part of a bonus scheme based on pre set KPI's.
Duties
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues and guide repairs
- Diagnose using Jaltest & Texa machines to plug in and pin point issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform maintenance, assembly, and repairs on various machinery
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures
- Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, gears, hydraulics, or electrical parts to restore equipment functionality
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for accountability and future reference
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge across various types of machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with reading schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools
- Experience in assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or clients regarding repairs or maintenance issues
- Prior experience in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems quickly and accurately
