Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. Applicants who have no experience can still apply as training will be given.
Duties
- Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the transportation of Household possessions and office contents.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during HOME MOVES AND OFFICE MOVES, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
- experience as a Removal driver driver or in a similar commercial driving role but training given to those without previous experience.
- Familiarity with 7.5 tonne lorry operations is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage home and office moves efficiently. Training given to those who have no or little experience
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
