Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Apple Juice Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our juice production facility, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have an interest in food production processes and possess a keen eye for detail to maintain efficient and safe manufacturing practices.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and processing of apple juice, following established recipes and procedures
- Operate and monitor machinery involved in juice extraction, pasteurisation, and bottling processes
- Ensure compliance with HACCP standards and food safety regulations at all times
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to maintain consistency and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area, adhering to hygiene
- Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for documentation purposes
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is desirable
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping are required
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
