Overview
We are looking for a motivated and professional Medical Equipment Driver / Installer to join our MedTech Division and become part of a team delivering critical medical equipment to hospitals, laboratories, healthcare facilities, and research centres across the UK.
The Role
This position goes beyond traditional driving duties. You will be responsible for the delivery, positioning, and installation support of high-value medical equipment, working directly with customers, engineers, and healthcare professionals. Every delivery is an opportunity to represent both Perform Logistics and our customers' brands with professionalism.
The role involves nationwide travel, occasional overnight stays, and flexibility to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical equipment safely and professionally throughout the UK.
- Assist with the installation and positioning of medical devices at customer sites.
- Conduct room-of-choice deliveries, unpacking, and equipment placement.
- Perform pre-delivery checks and ensure all equipment is transported securely.
- Complete site documentation and obtain customer sign-off.
- Take photographs and provide installation evidence where required.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Keep company vehicles clean, presentable, and compliant.
- Act as a professional brand ambassador at all times.
Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Good knowledge of the UK road network.
- Flexible approach to working hours and nationwide travel.
- Physically fit and capable of handling specialist equipment safely.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Desirable:
- Experience in white-glove deliveries.
- Experience with equipment installation or assembly.
- Experience working within healthcare, medical, logistics, or technical environments.
- Knowledge of safe manual handling practices.

Working Style
